A New Novella: middle-grade fiction

I am very close to publishing a story I have been working on for a while now. Years ago, I published the story with a different title before it was done. Sometimes, we are not as patient as we ought to be.

I rewrote my story and gave it a title that made more sense.

The Neighborhood Squirrel is a unique, middle-grade fiction novella set in a neighborhood in the city. Both fantastical and down to earth, I hope you find the short tale as intriguing as I do.

Besides the neighborhood squirrel and a few other animals, the two main (human) characters are Hispanic seventh graders I’ll bet you’ll come to appreciate.

I wholeheartedly admit there is a CS Lewis, Narnia influence, but the magical world isn’t found traveling through a wardrobe. The magic is found right here in our world.
